Project name: "Adopting European experience in a Center for Professional Training”
The project was approved and financed by The Human Resource and Development Center (HRDC) City of Sofia
Three leading Spanish training organizations are partnering in the project: S.COOP.VJAN COMENIUS,ESMOVIA и ALTAVIANA-EDUCACION SECUNDARIA OBLIGATORIA Y FORMACION PROFESIONAL DE HOSTELERA Y TURISMO.
The aims we and our partners on the project have are as follows:
– Improving the quality and attractiveness of the proffesional training at VETC “Viktoria-PM”
– Improving the knowledge and skills of the trainers from the professional center.
The project will include organization and executing an exchange of four specialists from VETC “Viktoria-PM” in the field of professional training /two teachers, one tutor and the head of the professional center/ in the City of Valencia, Spain for a week in September 2008
Main stages in executing the project:
• Signing a contract with HRDC,financing and forming a team /I month/
• Signing a contract with partners and selecting the participants in the exchange program /II month/
• Signing a contract with the participants, cultural and language preparation /ІІ-ІІІ month/
• Organizing and executing the exchange /ІІІ-ІV/
• Informational campaign /І-VІІІ/ month
• Analysis and reporting the project results /V-VІІІ month /
Achieved results from realizing the project:
• Improved and upgraded theoretical knowledge and practical skills through exchange
• Researched new methods and form of training in the field of construction and tourism in the hosting country
• Enriched idea of the culture, tradition, ways of life and work in Spain.
• Confirmed European consciousness and confidence in belonging to the union.
The project “Adopting European experience in Center for Professional Training” helps reaching the mutual aim of the program “Studying throughout life”, which is targeted at encouraging mutual exchange, cooperation and mobility between training and educational systems in the European Union in a way so as to turn them into world referents of quality.
